2. How we use your information

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

4. Cookies and advertising

Sportsavvy uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences (like light/dark mode), and understand how the site is used.

If you use Sportsavvy without signing in, a strictly necessary cookie (ss_meter) records which matches' AI predictions you have opened today and whether you have used your free AI picks list, so the free-tier limits can apply. It contains no personal information and expires after about 13 months. For signed-in users the same counts are stored with your account instead.

We also work with Google AdSense to show advertising on Sportsavvy. Google and its partners may use cookies — including the DoubleClick cookie — to serve ads based on your visits to Sportsavvy and other sites on the internet. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a participating third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.

5. Third-party services

Sportsavvy is built on top of a small number of trusted infrastructure providers, primarily Supabase for authentication, database, realtime messaging, and file storage, along with third-party sports-data providers for fixtures, statistics, and match data. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

6. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account (available anytime under Account → Delete Account), we permanently remove your profile and associated content from our systems, except where we're required to retain certain records by law.

7. Your rights and choices

8. Children's privacy

Sportsavvy is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we've collected information from a child under 13, we'll delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

10. International users

Depending on where you access Sportsavvy from, your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, by the infrastructure providers described above.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and for significant changes we'll make a reasonable effort to let you know.
